Nippers is a great way for children (5 – U14 years) to enjoy our Australian beaches in a safe and fun environment. The Junior Development Program is designed to ensure that children from the local region have fun at the beach, while participating in various lessons conducted on the beach that will provide a pathway to becoming a fully rounded participant in lifesaving and other sports.

Black Head SLSC Nippers includes the Junior Development Program, which is designed to ensure children have tons of fun at the beach, but also providing lessons that will lead them to becoming qualified surf lifesavers and junior competitors of surf sports. Nippers competitions play an important role in helping to strengthen and develop the skills of surf lifesavers.
